“It’s going to be very exciting to see what we can achieve over the next few years.”
Those were the words of Warwickshire captain Georgia Davis on 9th February 2025, exactly 73 days before the start of the Metro Bank One Day Cup season opener against Hampshire at Edgbaston.
With the power of hindsight, those words could not have been more apt.
Over the duration of an unforgettable Summer, which saw the club compete in Tier One of the newly re-imagined county setup, the Bears consistently exceeded expectations, especially in the shorter format, where they ultimately reached the Final of the T20 Blast at The Oval as well as the Semi-Finals of the inaugural T20 County Cup in Taunton.
