2025 was a great year for the Bears.
Facing off against the likes of Surrey, Lancashire, Hampshire, Somerset, Durham, Essex, and the Blaze, the West Midlands outfit defied all pre-season expectations on a regular basis in the Tier One competitions, reaching the final of the Vitality T20 Blast at The Oval as well as the Semi-Finals of the inaugural Vitality T20 County Cup in Taunton.
Whilst the season sadly didn’t end with any additional silverware being added to the cabinet at Edgbaston, the fact that the Bears did so well in their opening campaign in the top flight stands them in excellent stead for the upcoming county season, and it’s upon this incredibly exciting backdrop that today’s conversation at the Edgbaston Indoor School takes place.
Leading the line once more for the Bear and Ragged Staff in 2026 is club captain Georgia Davis, a talented off spinner from Birmingham who first represented the Bears at Under-10’s level.
