'It's been a real collective effort' - Brian Halford and Aaron Viles reflect on an unforgettable County Championship triumph for the Bears

On Saturday 26th September, in front of a vociferous home crowd at the hallowed turf of Edgbaston, Warwickshire CCC secured their ninth Championship title in emphatic style to scenes of wild celebration across Shakespeare’s County.

That success didn’t just materialise out of nowhere though; six months of blood, sweat and tears have gone into bringing back that immortal trophy to its rightful home here in the West Midlands, and what an unbelievable six months it’s been as well.
