No compromise in Mousley's pursuit of his maiden red-ball ton for the Bears

Dan Mousley is determined to at last bank his first first-class century for Warwickshire in 2026 – but insists there will be no compromise in his long-held ‘team first’ approach.
Mousley has passed 50 on 14 occasions in red-ball cricket for the Bears, but did not build any of those knocks into a ton. His only first-class century so far arrived for England Lions, against India A at Canterbury last year.
The 24-year-old’s first-class batting average of 28.69 does no justice to his ability. But while Mousley admits that he needs to learn more about how to develop an innings, there have also been several occasions where he was close to a century but perished chasing runs to strengthen the team’s position.
