This week we welcome Jonathon Webb as out guest on Once a Bear, Always a Bear. Webb played 18 first-team games for the Bears between 2014 and 2016, including 11 appearances as the county lifted the T20 Blast trophy in 2014 .
Webby, many thanks for joining is. What are your earliest memories of cricket, either playing or watching the game?
A couple of memories stand out; playing endless games of cricket in the garden with my older brother, Marc. Lots of tantrums (on my part) when hitting it over the fence - six and out, but lots of fun! I was also a Junior Bear at Warwickshire and recall many Sundays going to play on the colts ground in the morning and then heading over to watch the game with Marc and Dad in the afternoon, cool box packed, watching like Dougie Brown, Keith Piper, Dom Ostler, Trevor Penney and many other greats.
