Amiss humbled by 'very special' tribute

Warwickshire legend Dennis Amiss has described as “very special” the naming of a new stand after him at Edgbaston.
The club announced last week that the stand currently under construction on the Pershore Road side of the ground will be named in honour of Amiss. This great – perhaps the greatest - Bear is the club’s all-time leading run scorer, but his input to the club stretches far beyond the field. Amiss’ long tenure as chief execution began in 1994, when the team won the treble.
