Beau Webster is loving his time with Warwickshire – and truly relishing the challenge of playing in English conditions far removed from his native Australia.
Webster has returned to Edgbaston after making his Bears bow in 2025. The all-rounder impressed last summer – his unbeaten 100 when the Bears chased down 396 to beat Worcestershire at Edgbaston was one of the innings of the season - and has again immediately contributed plenty this time round. His 91 in tricky batting conditions was pivotal to the Bears’ win over Essex this week and on the final day of an enthralling game, as Essex started to threaten their victory target, he nipped out their last two wickets.
