Ed Barnard insists there will be no “resting on our laurels” when Warwickshire face resurgent Glamorgan at Edgbaston in the Rothesay County Championship on Friday.
The Warwickshire captain led his side to a stunning 377-run win over Yorkshire this week, a result which left them in second place in Division One, just six points behind leaders Nottinghamshire. Their confidence could not be higher, but next comes a fascinating tussle with newly-promoted Glamorgan who will arrive in Birmingham buoyed by successive wins over Hampshire and Somerset.
