A win full of skill, determination and belief, writes Jordan Thompson

It is now two weeks since our bowling attack fought hard at Trent Bridge to try and force a result against last year’s champions, but to no avail. 264 overs combined in the ‘dirt’, as the players now like to call it, and a strong number of points (16) to leave the game with. There was a lot of pride about how we approached that game; big runs from the skipper and the skill to bowl a team out on their own patch to enforce the follow on. Tiredness and an ever-flattening pitch just proved a bit too much of a challenge to grab the win, but the lads were now looking forward to a week off, before taking on my old lot in the form of Yorkshire.
