Warwickshire have announced that they will welcome back Indian spinner Manav Suthar and New Zealand batter Will Young for their County Championship campaign, which resumes next month.
The Bears still have six matches remaining of their red-ball season, the first of which is the visit of Sussex to Edgbaston towards the end of August, and they will return to First Class action sitting in third and only five points behind league leaders and reigning champions Nottinghamshire, while level on second-placed Somerset on 111.
After a T20 Blast campaign in which the Bears came up short in their attempts to qualify from the Central and West Group having made a damagingly slow start, and in the midst of a One Day Cup campaign in which they will be required to win at least the majority - if not all - of their remaining group games to secure a top three finish, the club have confirmed the recruitment of a couple of familiar faces.
