Mousley's first first-class ton for the Bears is a special moment for all at Edgbaston

There is a special ‘roar’ that you hear from Warwickshire’s supporters, beyond the usual celebration of a wicket or a milestone, that comes when something special has happened. Such a roar rang out on the second afternoon against Surrey when Dan Mousley reached his belated first first-class century for the Bears.  

In his 64th first class innings for his beloved county, having reached 50 on 14 previous occasions, Mousley advanced to a century. It was a moment and an achievement to warm the woolly hat and overcoat-clad spectators braving the cold winds that whipped across the ground, spectators who included Mousley’s very proud mum and dad.
